The Color Purple
This Thursday, I skipped my economic class to go to see Broadway show, the Color Purple. It was my first Broadway show and it only cost me “fifteen” dollars. That’s why I decided to skip my class to see it. The ticket was too cheap. I cannot give up this chance. I go with members of Project A.I.M. I have to say Project A.I.M is a really good organization. It always has wonderful workshops. Honestly, I have no idea about story of the Color Purple before I went to see it. I should do some homework. Because the entire show I just can catch thirty percent of the line. I was so depressed. But I still enjoyed the show. The music is so great. The voice of the main actress is amazing. I was in touch several times. My friend said," Several times I was almost cry. " I thought the show was worthy to skip the economic. By the way, After the show, my friend and I made a deal,” We have to understand eighty percent of lines of Broadway show in next two years. “

I believe you can do it in next two years. I heard you slip after the show when going to the restroom. The slip must hurt a lot. Are you OK now?
I haven't seen the show, but the book is great--but a little hard to read because of the dialect. The movie is pretty good too. I'll be honest, I cry at the end every time I see it.
